Where is the studio located?
Recreations Ink Studio & Gallery is located at 300 Main St, Wenham, MA. The studio sits directly across the lot from Haddem Hall and D’Lites. Look for our sticker decal in the window!

Do you take walk ins?
Our studio is currently private and does not take walk in appointments. No worries though! Setting up a free consultation is easy and quick to do on our contact page. You can also shoot us a message if you would like to browse or inquire about the gallery. Occasional days or events may be available for walk in purposes. Follow us on Instagram or check our site frequently for updates. Our gallery openings and events are open to the public.

How do I book a tattoo appointment?
Visit our Contact page and fill out the consultation request form. Each tattoo appointment requires a free consultation prior. We will review your submission and get back to you with availability within a day or two.

How much do tattoos cost?
Pricing varies by time and design. Half-day and full-day session rates are available with custom quotes provided after a consultation.

What is your cancellation/reschedule policy?
Deposits are non-refundable. We require at least 48 hours notice for rescheduling. Another deposit may be required if no show or late notice.

What are your sterilization practices?
We follow strict health and safety guidelines. All needles and tubes are single-use and disposable. The studio is thoroughly sanitized before and after each client.

Can I see the design before my appointment?
Designs are shown on the day of the appointment. This is why it is important to prioritize expressing your vision during the consultation to make sure you are on the same page with your artist. Any last minute drastic changes may result in an additional drawing fee or reschedule.

Do you tattoo minors with parental consent?
No. You must be 18 or older with a valid ID to get tattooed at Recreations Ink, regardless of parental consent. This is in accordance with Massachusetts state law.

What’s your deposit policy?
Deposits are non-refundable and go toward the final cost of your tattoo. If you no-show or cancel within 48 hours, your deposit may be forfeited.

Can I submit my art for gallery consideration?
Yes! We are always accepting submissions. We would love to help artists host their own gallery showings here at the studio. Visit our Contact page and submit an inquiry to apply.
